Well, AsmHighlighter is a plugin for the Visual Studio IDE and is not intended to be used outside VS. Syntax highlighting is - not only - a matter of tokenizing  your sourcecode, meaning that you have to identify a comment, a register, an operand in the sourcecode in order to apply a color to a selected text region.

AsmHighlighter has a very basic tokenizer, you  can see its usage in the AsmHighlighterScanner class, although If you are writing yourself an editor, I would suggest you to code your own lexer/parser to better fit your needs.

Thank you very much....

but...

i've tried to code a lexer but it works bad... and i've not fixed it because i don't understand where is the problem...

then If you have some free time, can you help me with the implementation of your source code??

thank You
